You have to check this out. The makers of Mini-Coopers are doing a field test trail of their new MINI-E, all electric vehicle. That's right, the cool little zippy car, but now WITHOUT gasoline forever. It's NOT a hybrid. It's a FULLY electric vehicle. 150 miles per charge. Top speed 95 miles per hour (or about 153 kph).
It's a one year trial and a lottery for the first 500 vehicles in LA, New York and New Jersey.
